Technology for Instructors and Presenters

The Bell Hall room is well equipped for transmitting your class or presentation to students at distant sites. It has
8 voice activated student microphones, each one shared by three students. There are two instructor microphones to
choose from: a clip-on lavaliere and a combination camera tracking device and wireless microphone.

Three 27" monitors face the instructor for keeping track of projection, programming, and distant sites. At the front of the room is a 25" monitor on which the students or participants can view the distant sites, as well as a 7' projection screen for computer presentations or overheads.

The Davis DLP-VI projector can project any image from the computer (at a resolution of 800 x 600 or below), or any video image (visualizer, distant sites, videotape, satellite downlink, etc.).
