Technology for
Instructors and Presenters
The
Bell Hall room is well equipped for transmitting your class or presentation
to students at distant sites. It has
8 voice activated student microphones, each one shared by three students.
There are two instructor microphones to
choose from: a clip-on lavaliere and a combination camera tracking device
and wireless microphone.
Three
27" monitors face the instructor for keeping track of projection,
programming, and distant sites. At the front of the room is a 25"
monitor on which the students or participants can view the distant sites,
as well as a 7' projection screen for computer presentations or overheads.
The
Davis DLP-VI projector can project any image from the computer (at a resolution
of 800 x 600 or below), or any video image (visualizer, distant sites,
videotape, satellite downlink, etc.).
